Youth Programs

At First Christian Church Albia we offer several ways for youth to get involved:

Children's Worship

Join us every Sunday morning in the sanctuary as children worship with Pastor John during "Little People, Big Word." They currently love trying to place an item in the tackle box to 'Stump the Chump"!

Sunday School

Children in preschool through 3rd grade are invited to join Aubrey for a Sunday School lesson on the 1st and 2nd Sundays of the month, immediately following the sermon - 10:45 a.m.

Nursery

The nursery is available to use as needed with parental supervision.

Youth Group

Join us on Wednesday evenings during the school year from 5:45-6:45 pm as youth enjoy Christian fellowship, lessons, songs, snacks, and ministries with other kids in their age group:

• Preschool

• K-2

• 3-4

• 5-6

• 7-8

• 9-12

Those who arrive early at 5:30 or later can help with some local mission projects, such as tying fleece blankets for Mary Sauter's Pay It Forward program or making crafts for nursing home residents.

​

VBS

​Join us every summer for our annual vacation bible school event. Typically held in late June or early July, this 2 or 3 night VBS ends with a Sunday program highlighting what was learned.

Summer Camp

Grand Camp, Youth Camp, Chi Rho, High School, Family Camp, and so much more. Attend summer camp at the Christian Conference Center in Newton, Iowa.​
